WELCOME TO LITTLE WISLEY'S CHARITY DAHLIAS

As I've several things I'm trying to accomplish this year I thought it would be a good idea if I could share my chores with you. I haven't the foggiest idea if it will work, but I'm going to try and involve you all. The first was supposed to watch me doing my mile for sport relief, but I realised this was a none starter from the beginning because it would be drearier than watching paint dry in an otherwise empty garden - so all I can say I did it without an audience, and I might add without sponsors. The second involvement will be yours truly  getting all the dahlias planted, and if as planned the Meridian television people are here for an afternoon you'll see them filming me - least that's what I'm hoping. I won't tell them the webcam on, but if they spot it I'll say it's off - just in case there's some clause that forbids it - devious aren't I? If you feel I'm struggling - boost my energy supply by contributing to my staggered walk appeal every penny goes to the Neuropathy Trust I promise any small donation is welcome.

As well as the obvious advantage of looking at certain parts of the garden during the year - depending where I place the webcam  - they're not cheap so for now I've just the one - you'll be able to see how disadvantage I am in the leg area - no one wants to be in the staggered walk club - who's proud of stagger? Now a swagger's is different of course - the operation is to prove anything is possible if  you've the will to do it.

That's about it - so anyone who wants to have a gander all they have to do is email me, and I'll send them the password - this will be changed from time to time should it become necessary - the link should be live the week before I start planting around the second week of May. There was a facility for a two way conversation, but I knocked this on the head because I wouldn't be able to concentrate on were the feet were going.

Due to weather conditions I've had to delay planting until the beginning of this week - the first day or so was taken up to make sure every thing was tidy, and various pots and boxes were out of the way in case of accidents - oh there  was also family matters that meant both daughters were not always able get round as promptly or for as long, but of course without them my hobby would have to be rapped up.

For Geoff and Thom who said they'd like to cop the imitation of a drunk I'll email you later.
