THE REASON THIS WEB SITE WAS CREATED
From the start I knew the Internet was for me, I'm a bit of a show off, and I like to spout about anything that comes into my head. Gradually I realised how useful this mode of communication was, and how many people I could speak to at once, essential for those like me who want to gab. (Oxford dictionary definition says `Chatter')
It wasn't until I had to change the way I managed my hobby however that I realised that all I wanted to do was to let everyone enjoy what I had enjoyed for years `The pleasure of growing and breeding the glorious flower' So should any of you who know me feel sorry that this hobby of mine has diminished in size, and as such it will spoil my fun, forget it. Everything comes to an end even this life it's self, but at the moment I'm very much alive, though cut down to size, but who says small was ever less intense? While life goes on so does the quest for perfection. So grow and breed the glorious flower, and I wish you luck because luck as well as a little skill is all it takes.
Irene and myself are managing, and although we have many disrupted nights, and although my own time has to be snatch when ever possible, we get by. If ever you're in the Bournemouth area look us up, but always telephone in case I'm into anything that isn't to do with dahlias. At the moment our youngest Larraine has taken her mother down to see the nurse for a B 12 injection what ever that is, and if she can get a doctor to give Irene the once over I'll be pleased because her next appointment is mid January, and every day some other symptom looms. Really that is all life is as you get older, continue adjustment. Bit like changing the stopping date of a dahlia you haven't grown before, sounds frivolous, but believe me if you don't make light of things it will get you, and then where will you be.
By the way my youngest just said the B 12 injection is to allow the blood to absorb iron - which is essential for the brain to function better - which in Irene's case is most critical as it has been fragmented already. This treatment is definitely needed as we approach the date Irene has the B 12 - July the second - she is more and more confused.
