Could you get a better setting for this wonderful variety? Even the Pewter vase compliments the grey of the church walls. You can see what I was up against in having this long shot for cropping. I am still waiting for John Andrea's report on the state of the dahlia movement in South Africa, I do remember him saying he had a terrible lot of work to do for his elderly mother, bringing the house up to scratch meant getting the builders in, and all that entails, and we all know about that. So I'll be patient a wait till he has time to enlighten me.
