This ones about the futility of being jealous, because most times it acts against the very person who is being jealous - making the matter far worse, and ultimately ruining an other wise sound relationship.

Enjoy.

SHE WON'T BELIEVE IN ME    Ken Stock August 1990

There is no Jane or Mary, no Pamela or Sue.
No floozy round the corner, no place I’m going to.
My heart is where my home is, and where I’d rather be.
I had to tell some body, she won’t believe in me.

It’s alright when she’s with me, when she’s with me that’s alright.
You see I can’t be trusted, when I’m out of sight.
I know she doesn’t mean it, for her it’s purgatory.
I had to tell some body she won’t believe in me.

I’ve sworn on all that’s sacred, a baby’s life in fact.
I shouldn’t have to do it, not go as far as that.
She thinks I need things different, with someone else you see.
I had to tell some body, she won’t believe in me.

She tells me that she’s seen things, some funny goings on.
When all I want is comfort, with her where I belong.
She’ll have to learn to trust me, I’m innocent you see.
I had to tell some body she won’t believe in me.

And so I stand before her the case against me read.
For she is judge and jury black cap upon her head.
No rights, and no forgiveness, till proven true, guilty.
I had to tell some body, she won’t believe in me.

The storms are getting lighter, the words no longer shout.
All questions have been answered, our time is running out.
The hands up on that clock won’t stop, the older ones are we.
I had to tell some body, she now believes in me.
