Amy Rose had been sent to Graham Carey to assess it's merits as a exhibition flower, and on the strength of his growing I decided to send it to that famous Japanese grower Yusaku Konishi who also sung it's praises - in Japanese of course. As for me I'd managed to dump the tuber I had of it feeling it was far to course - the early flowers had been clock faced, but only due I fear - to over feeding and not enough stems on the plants I grew.

AM2007 |
This error was rectified this year when Yusaku sent me back a single tuber which produced a good few cuttings. Mean while back in Golden Acre Park to give it it's rightful name Amy Rose Mk two had managed to creep unnoticed into a batch of American pot tubers. So I was very grateful to Mike Cunningham who notified me when it flowered, and again this year when he enquired if I had anything for this years trials. It is going to displayed under the Moniker of AM2007 should anyone care to give it a look over. The only other variety I'm sending is a peach of a Collerette called Party Princess although Nick Gilbert is sending a glowing orange medium decorative of mine called Early Harvest - see 2010 releases.
