PASSION FOR PLANTS
This is a new BBC 2 television programme starting next Friday the 19th of October, and continuing for quite a few weeks. If you stay the course you could see me make a complete fool of myself in episode six I believe. Which is a few days before my seventy sixth birthday on November the 23rd. (you can't be that old) Oh for God sake pack it in.
I'm not sure, but I believe our mate Ivor Kitchener is involved as well, but haven't been told officially. You might have known I'd wanna get involved when I was asked by BBC Bristol, especially as it involves Wisley. I haven't had a chance to do a write up of all that happened putting together my contribution, but of course you can bet this ol' fella's gonna let everybody know about it. I was lucky because the first time this same set up asked me to be in a programme was when the last Word Cup was being staged, and it was all about being patriotic. Some one must have made a note that I was cheaper than Alan Titchmarsh who is evidently doing the voiceovers.
