MY OTHER INTERESTS

Below are some of the things I've been interested in over the years they are only for your amusement. It is obvious there is never enough time to do everything. It will take a while to show you everything, but if you're interested please be patient. Most are prose or poems, a few plays, and three musicals. None published, some submitted only once and rejected, but as gardening and latterly dahlias have taken up my time I thought the time was ripe to show the world my other side, or it will remain on this computer unread.

  Not Complaining. Created after I fell off a roof aged forty seven.  February 7th 1971.
  You'd Never Get It Out. About not being able to pursue our hobby further a field.  February 26th 2008.
  She Won't Believe In Me. Jealousy, and all its torment.  August 14th 1990.
  The Marching Band. Sunday morning practice was always heard at No 104.  Not dated.
  Honest. One verse about age changing the way we look and act. November 12th 1999.
  In My Garden. Working out how to create a colourful display. August  9th 1990.
  I'm a Mongrel. How pure is anyone in this mixed up world. August 25th 1990
  A Piece of Red String.  I remember as a kid how dark it was when the bathroom light went out. July 18th 1989.
  It's Cold and Expensive.  How Christmas can be expensive in more ways than one. December 15th 1992
  Saint Nicholas Days. Thoughts while removing Christmas decorations from the attic. December 31st 1993.
  Death is for  Heroes. Good men die continually for what? June 6th 1990.
  Is Love Fair? Most times not. July 19th 1990
  White Time. Since the new President took office we live in hope.  May 5th 1993.
  Even Shamrocks Flower. When in Rome best not make waves.  
  Only Child. I always felt I missed out, and since witnessing certain things I think I did.
