This beautiful flower is named after Jack's grandson, Jake Taylor it sported in 1998 on Jack's patch, it was registered in 1999. Curiously the year after it sported Jack stopped the batch of plants, and rooted all the tops to build up stock for the following year. When these were planted, one of the plants had yellow flowers, and Yellow Coronet was born. It isn't registered yet, and is still being trailed in Holland with nurseryman Rinus Q Van Nuland. what a find Jack, what's going on up there? You know when you get up in the night Jack, perhaps you don't, but if you do, check the water, pour a glass, and if it glows we've found the reason for all these sports. What a beautiful flower is Jake's Coronet. |
