Mayan Starlight. SSC.

Early Harvest. MD.

Our Pam. MSC.

Talk of the devil, and he's sure to appear in the guise of Mayan Starlight, good solid flower this one and with that faintest of lavender flush is sure to please. Early Harvest lit up Nick's field so much, he wants a bright orange cactus in the same shade, I'll do my best to oblige. Well it had to be a good `un to name after our eldest daughter Pam so trust me this variety is strong, and bears really nice medium semi-cactus flowers.

Lavender Time. MD.   Sister Lake. MSC.   Lady Sandra. MD.

It was a toss up whether I gave the variety now called Lavender Time to Nick or the variety he now calls Florence Nightingale, to tell the truth there wasn't a lot of difference apart from the petal shape. Lavender Time having the decorative shape, and the other more rounded petals. Sister Lake joins a multitude of medium yellow semi-cactus so it has plenty of competition, named after our lovely niece who started work in a bank, but after reaching the top, decided to help the human race by joining the nursing profession, and is now a sister in Bournemouth Royal.  The tales she could tell about A & E would fill a book. The influence of Hamari Gold can still be seen in the variety called Lady Sandra who's petal shape has travelled through three generations, and ended up in this pretty medium. Carrying three blooms I'm confident grown by the right grower it could make a large decorative.
