| Barbarry Pink Marksman. | B J Beauty. |
Seen better blooms of Barbarry Pink Marksman, but just look at the form, the colour can be more electrifying than this, sometimes it almost sparks. B. J. Beauty is another medium decorative that has won many prizes in the past, Mr. T Clarke raised this in 1976, I was forty five. "Oh don't start that again.

| B J Beauty (Group) |
Bracken Lorelei |
Nice little group here Geoff, bit bunched up mate. If you want white this sure is the variety. I've been waiting to get to this next one, Bracken means it was raised by Mr. Naumann, and that means it is an Australian variety. All the varieties that come out of Australia cost a hell of a lot of money to get them out, not only that but each one has to go through a rigorous quarantine period, like wise if you want to get stuff in, it has to go though the same procedure. Anyway getting back to this superb variety, wish I'd have raised it. Wonder what he used to get it? Could it be Yvonne?

| Bracken Palomino. | Brian's Dream. |
Another from the same stable, I can't tell whether it's a small or a medium, but if it's a medium it's got a fair bit to go. The name Palomino is Spanish I think, isn't it one of those horses that are able to do incredible tricks? Perhaps I'm wrong.

| Cameo. | Campos Gibby. |
Cameo is in everyone's infantry, this one looks a bit clock faced, or maybe it's the way Geoff's shot it, Graham Carey's white sport is a pure white. One thing I found out about this water lily flowered dahlia was, it hold it's form for a long time. Campos Gibby, not fussed, form is a trifle over the place, and a little further into this article there is a far nicer variety, anyway that's what I think, but of course this could have been an odd dodgy flower, or perhaps the stock isn't what it should be, there are such a lot of things that go into producing a special flower..

| Carstone Ruby. | Carstone Suntan. |
Next two are stone cold certainties, I was going to say d`you get it, but I thought better of it. Carstone Ruby has the sort of form that a well grown small or miniature decorative should have, look at the way Geoff has captured the colour. It isn't easy with a red bloom, in fact it is really hard. My photographer friend David Le Clercq recons one hour after sunrise, and one hour before sunset is the perfect time to snap. Carstone Suntan has got to have some parentage from Cherwell Skylark, now that's "Been and Gaun and Done it" Similar colour to Skylark, but looks as if it could be a bit larger, it's not a medium is it?
