FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN CREATING NEW DAHLIAS
This group was formed for all those that have been bitten by the bug, and live, sleep, eat, and dream of wonderful dahlias, dahlias that take you breathe away, dahlias that make history. If this sounds a little like you then I invite you to join a this new group, because one doesn’t make a group.
My main reason for forming this group came about after I'd come back from a very good friend’s funeral. I don’t wish to be morbid, but after such events I always remember that life doesn’t go on forever, and felt the need to put in place something I’ve been toying with for a good while, a Breeder’s Club specifically for dahlias. Yahoo has given me the opportunity, and if I don’t start it, like I did the World Dahlia Map, it will never get off the ground. So please dahlia breeders of the World join the World’s first dahlia breeder’s club, and look in from time to time. You never know you could enhance your breeding prowess.
I’m hoping we can show photographs of our new creations, I know we can already do this on Dahlia net, but also there will be a chance for you the member to put your two pennyworth of the do’s and don’ts of breeding dahlias. If you know anyone who breeds dahlias please tell them about our new club. I hope it will snowball, and by the time I leave this mortal coil, in about twenty years yet I hope, its membership might have grown to three figures. Thank you for hearing me out, and remember it matters not if you’re new to the wonderful world of breeding dahlias, or are a veteran, there is a place for you here. All the members are helpful in their quest to produce bigger, better and bewitching dahlias. Become a member in what is becoming a fascinating dahlia group, we have many top breeders amongst us, and it is a place where all can discuss the art of breeding new varieties.
