I hope every dahlia grower of the world know matter how small a grower  who has an Internet connection can help me to put the dahlia on top where it belongs. It seems quite a few, mainly television pundits, class this beautiful flower as vulgar and flashy. But we love its many forms, which incidentally are far more than any other species, know it to be King of the plant world, and as such most species are to unable to match its versatility. The forms can be both striking and delicate, and of course are continually changing, to keep us guessing as to what will come next.

All you have to do is send me an email with  an attachment photograph of your favorite dahlia. This will be displayed along with your email address, and any comment you wish to make. Should you wish to remain anonymous your wish will be granted, but please support my effort to make a stand for the species we love. I shall make the first entry of what I hope will be a massive photo collection of everyone's choice variety.

If you can send them no smaller than 400 x 400 pixels because this makes for a reasonable picture.
