BADGER TWINKLE

2008 at Little Wisley.

And a set of five at Shepton Mallet in 2006

Badger Twinkle came over a few years ago from Wisconsin and was sent quite legally by John Theirmann, it is one of his own creations, and is the nearest thing to a perfect miniature semi-cactus bicolour there is, but beware it can go over size if it's not carrying enough flowers. The first year I grew it was from original tubers sent, because they came to late to propagate from. If you try it from cuttings either take `em early, and give them two stops, or leave the plant to show the break bud, prune to two leaves down, and let everything come. Nothing better for the garden providing it doesn't get to much nitrogen, or the flowers can grow down in the leaves, Grow it hard on tomato liquid feed an it'll blossom.
